Cabinets and the Coast - Provence

Greetings from a beautiful L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue - photo from 8am this morning below. Got up early and went to the markets. Actually we got up too early and were at the markets before some of the stall holders so had to go and have a café crème at Café de France to kill some time. We bought a lovely buffet (photo below) to put in the living area of the Rue Jean Théophile apartment after I fell instantly in love with it and managed to convince Simon that he really liked it too and needed to buy it immediately. The vendor was really funny, jumping around and trying to encourage Simon. We were busy discussing how we could get it delivered next Sunday, and I think he thought we were agonising over the 190€ price tag. Before we knew it the buffet was only 170€ with free delivery! Anyway, we have bought a buffet from a man and his father, paid for it and have the utmost faith it will turn up next week at the apartment. Other than that have done a drive to Marseille today to collect Simon' jacket and glasses which we left on the TGV (I am saying we but I assume you know who left them). We had a drive along the coast but due to the warm weather and the long weekend we fled the traffic chaos of Cassis and will try again another time. The coast is amazing though. Rocky, arid and hairpin bends taking one high over the sea and coastal towns. It is hot here again today, 35 degrees. Anyone with sense is hiding behind closed shutters and keeping cool. We covered quite a few km today so we will dine locally tonight. Bye for now, Simon and Dellas
